Sun rises. Time flows
Sun sets. Time flows.
New day. Again sun rises. Time flows.
Whatever happens, time flows.
But, when did time started to flow?
Let's assume it started to flow one billion years ago. Then next question comes out. That is, what happened before time started? For an event to happen, time must exist. For time to exist, events must happen. This problem is quiet fascinating. I have thought it for a long time. I have browsed through internet looking for a solution. I couldn't find any solid answer. Some say time doesn't exist at all. Some others say time is a closed loop. Everything repeats again and again. Scary, isn't it?
Let me explain my view on time and beginning of time.
Time is just an illusion. It is the illusory feature which connects present with past and future. If time did not exist, we may never relate past and future. We will always live in the present moment.
The way time is perceived by one person is different to another. Everyone feel time in their own way. I agree that one hour period is same for anyone. But the speed at which that time flows is different from one another. Even for a single person, it differs from situation to situation. One simple example is when you are in a lecture, you feel one hour as a long period. But when you are with your loved ones, one hour passes quickly. Therefore, in my opinion, time is not a universal concept. It is a concept that is embedded in each and every creature. Time is unique for each of us. What I feel as time is different to what you feel as time.
With my explanation on time in the previous paragraph, answer to our original question is quiet clear. Time starts for someone at the moment he/she comes to this world. For that person, time does not exist beforehand. Also, time ends at the very moment he/she leaves this world.
As a summary, time is unique for person to person. How one person look at time is different to another. Time starts for a person at birth. Starting point of time for a particular being is always the moment of entering into this world. Time ends for a being with his/her death.
